Mrs. Kristin Harrison, Principal

Kristin Harrison became the Principal of Malcom Bridge Middle School in 2023. Her previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Principal at Oconee County Middle School and working as a science and CTAE teacher and coach for grades 6-12. She looks forward to a great year ahead! Go Bolts!

Mrs. Chelsey Manning, Assistant Principal 

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Mrs. Manning began her career in education at Callaway High School in Troup County, where she taught social studies and coached cheerleading for six years. In 2016, she returned to Athens, serving in the same capacity at Oconee County High School until 2019, when she transitioned to the role of assistant principal at Westside Middle School in Barrow County. 
Returning to serve in Oconee County is especially meaningful for Mrs. Manning, who lives in the community with her husband and their two children. She is thrilled to join the MBMS family and looks forward to partnering with students, parents, and staff to continue the school’s tradition of excellence. Go Bolts!

Mr. Jackson Huckaby, Assistant Principal

After graduating from the University of Georgia in 2011 and 2012, Mr. Huckaby began teaching at North Oconee High School where he taught mathematics for 12 years. While at North Oconee, he coached multiple sports while teaching AP Calculus. In the fall of 2024, Mr. Huckaby moved to MBMS to serve as an assistant principal, and he looks forward to working with the MBMS community! Go Bolts!
