Science Olympiad

What is Science Olympiad?
The Science Olympiad Club and Team are a group of students who love to solve very difficult science problems. They will design, build, and test projects as well as do extensive research on various science topics. We will then go to the regional competition in late winter to compete against the other regional Science Olympiad teams. If we place high enough, we will advance to the state competition held in the spring.

Who can join?
Any students at MBMS with a strong interest and COMMITMENT to science may apply to become a member of the Science Olympiad Club. From the 30 club members, our competing team will be selected. Our team is limited to 15 members with alternates. (Alternates study with other team members to learn their assigned events, and will attend the competition, but do not participate in an actual competition unless there is an emergency or illness).
